You can change the outcome of the story by travelling through time in "My Darling In The 90s".

The story is about a young guy who's graduating from high school. Before his school life ends, he wants to confess to his crush. Her name is Rei and she quickly turns him down, crushing his dreams in public. The embarassment turns to motivation as he continues spending the following years in solitude. During that period, he turned his ordinary smart phone into a time travelling device. His goal was to undo his confession mistake but only ends up sending himself back all the way to the 90s, where he meets a different kind of girl. One that might end up being his true love.

The game features many player choices and multiple endings. As for the visual part of the game, it contains two art styles for the characters. A modern style with Live2d animations and a retro pixel style. On top of that, not only the characters change, but the game itself as well. The user interface and backgrounds warp into a pixelated style, even the music turns retro. Everything together makes for a diverse gameplay experience.

This is a wonderful and sweet game. Short, but sweet, and all it needs to be.

And damn, that pixel art? Great work!

I hope you create a game continuation. Or a parallel story with, some characters.

This story won't have a sequel but I'll make sure that the next VN game will live up to the experience you had with this game.

You are an artist. This game made me miss the characters, the story and everything. Really incredible

Wow this game looks really good! I would love to play it, I found this on the Ren’Py discord and thought it looked really cool and being a 90s girl myself this brings back some nostalgia, I understand that Steam didn’t allow this(though somehow allows lolis) but I think you should keep trying to put the game out there, I would personally buy it for $20 USD but that’s just me, honestly speaking I’m never going to use itch.io for games, not because of the games being bad in fact I’ve seen some really good looking games this one included, it’s just that I’m a bit of an achievement wh*re and like showing off my steam collection(also I have to say that the video is a bit misleading I thought it was a Yuri game but that’s fine). Anyway I’m off, thanks for taking time to read this and I would appreciate it if you could refer me to the person who made the art if it wasn’t yourself and like to ask if they would like to work on a project with me.

Thank you! I did the artwork, I've send you a discord friend request.

Hello just bought your game  and read that you got undeserved hate for it. Please dont let it discourage you. Your game looks great and everyone can see that you put a lot of effort into it. I gonna play it today and if you want i will write my thoughts on the game afterwards

Thanks a lot! Please go ahead, I can take constructive critique so you can write an honest opinion. :)

Hey thanks a lot for the kind words!

I deleted the post on reddit because the hateful comments really got to me emotionally. I think its just like you said, people jump to conclusions very quickly, and its upsetting. But reading a comment like yours really puts me in a positive mood. Thanks a lot!

I backed this when it was on Kickstarter, and this was well worth the wait! I've spent this whole morning playing this game; I'm glad you were able to release it on itch.io since you couldn't get a Steam release.

I was really looking forward to Mia's character, and she doesn't disappoint, you clearly put a lot of thought into her. And you also clearly put a lot of thought into the other character you meet in the 90s, (spoiler), I ended up really loving that character as well.

I haven't been able to unlock all of the gallery images yet, but the ones I did unlock are very well-drawn; this was well worth the wait.

Well done, Osjey, this is a great game!

Thanks a lot! This was very fun to read. :)

If you need help unlocking all images you can DM me on discord Osjey#2623

Oops, accidentally deleted the post. What I wrote was, My apologies, I'm an inexperienced Discord user and I couldn't figure out how to "look up your user name", so I had to "send a friend request". We don't actually have to be online friends; I just couldn't figure out how to "look up a user to send them a message".
